It is important to spend some time researching the courses you are interested in
studying. The key to success in the Sixth Form is enjoying the courses you have
chosen. All applications will be considered in accordance with our Admissions Policy. If your application is successful, you
will be invited to interview where we will assist you with your course choices.

you started it.
You will need at least five GCSE grades above C (4 or above in English & Maths) to study AS/A2 levels or a
BTEC National Certificate. Most students take four AS levels in Year 12 and three
A2's in Year 13. If you have a higher proportion of A/A* grades at GCSE, you may
be advised to consider five AS subjects.
If you do not obtain a C or above in Maths and English, you must continue to study
Maths or English GCSE in line with national policy and this may impact on the other
course choices available to you due to timetabling restrictions.
All applications must be made online. The closing date for applications is
20 December 2017 but we
will consider late applications if there are still places available. Interviews
normally take place in March when offers will be made.
The 16-19 Bursary Fund aims to help 16-19 year olds overcome any financial barriers they may face
when attending full time education in sixth form.
